Sr. UX Designer, Connect

San Mateo, CA

You are equal parts systems thinker and craft driven designer. You bring clarity to complex ecosystems, translating identity frameworks, account services, safety policies, and platform technologies into seamless, intuitive player experiences. You leverage emerging capabilities to design secure, scalable solutions that build trust across regions and devices. You ground every decision in research, experimentation, and measurable outcomes, and you thrive in ambiguity, defining structure where none exists.

In this role, you will contribute to and shape experiences across PlayStation’s cross-platform ecosystem as part of the Connect team. Your work will help players, families, and communities get started, manage their accounts and relationships, stay safe, and move seamlessly across PlayStation products and services.

You will design intuitive, scalable experiences across console, mobile, web, and other connected surfaces, spanning areas such as account journeys, onboarding, identity, privacy, safety, family management, social connection, communication, self-service support, and cross-device continuity. You will partner closely with product, research, engineering, policy, legal, and regional teams to balance usability, trust, compliance, privacy, safety, and business objectives.

As a senior designer, you will help define experience strategy, simplify complex systems, influence cross-functional decisions, and deliver high-quality design solutions that work globally across platforms, surfaces, and regions.

You will join the Connect design team in a hybrid role based in San Mateo and be part of the broader Sony design organization. You will collaborate with a global network of designers to elevate craft, advance systems thinking, and deliver forward looking, player centered experiences at scale.
