
Senior Manager, Distribution
Sony Music Entertainment Korea Inc. is looking for a Senior Manager, Distribution, who can strategically manage partnerships with local labels, artist management companies, and distribution partners to acquire and execute key music release opportunities.
As a core member of our Distribution team, you will ensure to lead end-to-end distribution strategy, team operations and external collaborations to deliver impactful results in Korea.
What you'll do:
- Lead strategic partnerships with local labels and distributors to secure releases via Sony Music.
- Drive release acquisition planning and negotiate distribution opportunities.
- Oversee end-to-end content registration and operational quality management.
- Supervise team structure, performance, workflows, and cross-functional alignment as a Senior member in the Distribution team.
- Act as key contact for internal stakeholders and global headquarters.
Who you are:
- 10+ years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) with local distribution companies or label management companies in Korea.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of music copyright, royalties, or licensing.
- Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and deadline & resource management skills.
- Strong leadership and accountability mindset with proven results.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills especially with the external clients. Fluent in Korean & English is a must.
- Passionate about music with a solid understanding of distribution and the overall music industry.
