A Partner Engineer is a versatile software engineer responsible for integrating voice AI solutions into client and partner products. This role bridges the gap between external partners and internal engineering teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and providing technical solutions to business challenges. Partner Engineers are skilled in software engineering, time management, and prioritization, often juggling multiple projects at once.

In this role, you will design and implement enhancements to the voice AI platform, identify risks and pain points, and improve the user experience. Strong communication skills are essential for working directly with partners to address technical challenges and drive platform improvements.

While prior experience in Natural Language Understanding (NLU) or AI is not required, a keen interest in these areas is necessary. The position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies in NLU, Speech, and AI. You'll contribute to advancing voice AI technology, helping revolutionize how users interact with devices through natural speech. This impactful role requires both technical expertise and a collaborative approach, making it integral to the success of AI-based integrations.

In this role, you will:

Own and maintain the technical aspects of our partner projects, from translating business requirements into technical requirements by diving deeply into our AI system
Adapt and grow our partnerships through constant iteration, adding value to our partners while discussing solutions with our internal engineering teams to improve our internal platform
Design and implement long-term solutions or short-term workarounds as appropriate to achieve business objectives
Work cross-functionally with program management, product management, business development, internal engineering, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time
Rapidly prototype new features for our Generative AI integrating using a variety of tools and techniques

We would love to hear from you if:

You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 0-4 years of full-time industry experience
You have proficiency in scripting languages like Python, and having experience with C++ is a significant advantage
You are experienced in solving ambiguous problems as an engineer and have demonstrated your ability to manage and negotiate technical requirements while ensuring that software engineering teams efficiently operate at a high level
You have knowledge and experience implementing and customizing complex systems
You have the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish strategic goals
You are familiar with Generative AI and are excited about the various ways in which it can be integrated into existing technologies.

This role is available for candidates around the Paris region. Employees living around our Paris office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration. Aside from these office-specific “core days,” this job allows for hybrid, and in-office workplace setting options.
