The Medical Affairs mission is to continually improve and expand our care delivery programs, practices and outcomes as we build precision mental health care for our customers. We are seeking a qualified Clinical Lead, Workplace Disability to join our Medical Affairs team. This role will be responsible for managing clinical escalations, streamlining LOA operations, and driving process improvements through automation and scalable solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee and manage the clinical LOA process, ensuring members are connected with the right providers and cases are completed with accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement provider training programs to support sustainability and improve outcomes for LOA cases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve tooling (e.g., add LOA session types in Compass) and automate manual processes such as case reviews, reporting, and status tracking.
- Lead the effort to establish real-time tracking systems for LOA cases, providing transparency for members and customers.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency in LOA evaluations and paperwork submission, addressing escalations when necessary.
- Create a robust reporting framework for LOA case metrics, enabling scalable, long-term reporting for high-profile clients and large-scale programs.
What success looks like in this role:
- Streamlined, automated LOA case management, reducing manual workload and improving accuracy and speed.
- Successful implementation of a real-time LOA status tracking tool for both members and clients.
- High-profile client satisfaction due to efficient, well-managed LOA case reviews and improved provider training.
- Scalable, data-driven reporting on LOA case outcomes, supporting program growth from pilot to full-scale implementations.
What we expect from you:
- Actively licensed mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent) with 5+ years of clinical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, healthcare product development, or similar fields, with expertise in using clinical insights to craft marketing content aligned with team KPIs.
- Broad subject matter expertise across diverse conditions and populations, with a deep understanding of family mental health.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with leadership and teams, with previous work engaging product teams to develop clinical care products.
- Ability to create clinical assets that drive growth metrics and improve quality metrics beyond traditional measures.
- Effective communicator, skilled in written, verbal, and listening capacities, with an ability to work collaboratively and provide constructive feedback.
- Self-starter who thrives in autonomous environments, with a focus on achieving goals while valuing levity, humility, and teamwork.
- Adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments, with experience in the digital mental health ecosystem.
The target base salary range for this position is $110,000-$142,500, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
