StackAdapt is hiring a Visual Designer for an opportunity to join our innovative Design team and help the Marketing team deliver effective content. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to create high-impact content and significantly further your professional experience.

In this role, you will be able to show off your visual communication capabilities through the creation of long-form content layouts, professionally-designed slide decks, and template creation within a fast-paced environment.

We are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area for this position. Candidates in the GTA may be expected to come into the office occasionally, and there is a possibility of travel to the US or within Canada.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with other designers to apply our existing company branding, and continue to refine the design system where appropriate.
  • Support the marketing team with laying out: e-books, sales presentations, social media posts, infographics, and other informative marketing collaterals.
  • Brainstorm and execute intentional design solutions that visually convey the intended message.
  • Create a variety of design templates that ensure easy usability, functionality, and consistency.
  • Design and produce materials to support our corporate events, working closely with the events team.
  • Present design concepts and finalized materials to C-suite and executive leadership.
  • Stay current with visual design technologies, applications, and industry trends.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ professional years experience working in a digital graphic design team (excluding internship and co-op experience).
  • A strong portfolio of work which reflects your mastery of digital layout design, brand applications, and typesetting, along with apparent attention to detail.
  • An organized design process and ability to communicate with adjacent departments to fulfill specific design needs under time constraints.
  • Strong understanding of composition, typography, image curation, and presentation design.
  • An appreciation for giving and receiving feedback in order to improve and grow within the team.
  • A self-driven and deep passion for learning and inherent openness to improve and innovate.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC, specifically in: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with presentation design software, namely: Google Slides and Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • Familiarity with Figma is strongly preferred.
  • Special skills related to print and merchandise design, or a desire to expand knowledge in that area
  • Nice to have experience in motion design, Adobe Premier, and After Effects.
