Public Sector Account Executive

Position Summary:

As a Public Sector Account Executive on Strider’s Strategic Solutions Team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Strider’s mission by establishing and expanding relationships within the US Government and broader public sector. You’ll focus on engaging federal agencies to uncover and develop intelligence-driven solutions that address critical security needs. This role demands a skilled relationship builder who can cultivate meaningful connections, articulate complex value propositions, and navigate the intricacies of public sector procurement processes.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a founding team, directly contributing to the growth of Strider’s presence in the public sector while partnering with internal teams to enhance the value of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Strategy: Develop and execute targeted strategies to introduce Strider’s intelligence solutions to new public sector clients, working closely with internal stakeholders to align on goals.
  • Sales Lifecycle Ownership: Drive the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through to close, focusing on complex public sector organizations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Forge and maintain impactful relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including COTRs and contracting personnel, to maximize strategic value for clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Strider’s product, engineering, and intelligence teams to ensure seamless service delivery and foster continuous innovation in our offerings.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales; a background in security software or government contracting is highly desirable.
  • Proven success managing and closing complex deal cycles, including experience in the US Government contracting process.
  • Exceptional skills in engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, from end-users to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for pipeline management; technical aptitude with a focus on data and intelligence products is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced education is a plus.
