Ultimately, Stronghold intends to apply its technology-intensive investment approach to a variety of specialist real assets verticals, including:

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
- Oversee the valuation process for all investments, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including reviewing and approving valuation models and assumptions, performing sensitivity analyses, and ensuring the timely completion of valuations
- Model net cash flows across portfolio companies and their respective waterfall structures
- Model various A&D scenarios across diverse portfolio company set to forecast impact to all LPs and GPs across multiple waterfall structures
- Maintain the larger parent fund model to consolidates cash flows, expenses, and distributions from all portfolio companies and funds up to the managing partner level
- Model expense allocations accurately and forecast tax distributions across various investments
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Lead and manage a team of associates, provide training and mentorship to junior team members in financial modeling and finance principles
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate closely with the US-based team to ensure alignment on financial strategies and goals
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management
- Support the preparation of investor reports and presentations
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., MBA, MS Finance, CPA, CFA) a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in financial modeling, preferably in the upstream, onshore US oil and gas sector or private equity
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining complex financial models
- Experience in leading and managing a team of finance professionals
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
