About The Role…

We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to lead our efforts in AI and associated Data to drive the transformation of healthcare operations through cutting-edge technology. This leader will drive the collaboration with other parts of the product management team and software engineering counterparts to align the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across with all of the technical infrastructure required to realize measurable clinical and business outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, platform scalability, and user-centric design principles to drive innovation and business growth. 

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this position requires a broad strategic perspective and experience, combined with the ability to lead through influence and work collaboratively across the organization to ensure market success. 

What You’ll Do…

  • Collaborate on the creation of product strategy, vision, and roadmap across the full portfolio of AI/ML-enabled healthcare solutions. 
  • Define and execute the technical roadmap that supports key aspects of product roadmaps. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Product Management, Delivery, Engineering) in an Agile environment to ensure timely and high-quality execution. 
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, business development, marketing, and executive teams to bring innovative and commercially successful products to market. 
  • Champion customer needs and market feedback to continuously evolve product capabilities 
  • Guide ontology and terminology development to support advanced NLP and LLM-based systems. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements. 
  • Identify and prioritize the enabling data and technologies that allow the development of new products that can be realized in a fast-paced development cycle.  

What We Look For…

  • 15+ years of experience in software development, product management, or data science leadership, with at least 10 years in AI/NLP/ML 
  • Proven success leading AI product strategy and delivery in healthcare, life sciences, or pharma sectors 
  • Expertise across the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern programming environments 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing, geographically distributed teams 
  • Ability to balance innovation with pragmatic delivery and long-range planning 
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field preferred 

Preferred Experience 

  • Familiarity with clinical ontologies and healthcare interoperability standards 
  • Demonstrated contributions to Real World Evidence (RWE) studies or clinical trials 
  • Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), computational linguistics, or AI model development 

Skills: 

  • Ability to lead teams through direct management – as well as cross-functional influence. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required, with the ability to explain advanced concepts to audiences of varying levels. 
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies. 
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view. 
  • Challenges current thinking and brings others along to implement new ideas to improve business results. 
  • Self-motivated with ability to collaborate with business leads, product managers, engineering and senior executives. 

Education

  • Required:Bachelor’s Degree – Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field 
     
  • Preferred:Masters’ Degree - Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
