The Role
We are seeking a highly adaptable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations, global shipping, and on-site deployment activities. This is a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment—one day in the warehouse, the next at a trade show, and another in a data center installing hardware.
This role is critical to Telnyx’s global infrastructure and logistics backbone. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of international shipping, import/export compliance, and freight coordination, and is excited to grow within a fast-moving operations team.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize inbound shipments of networking and data center equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, documentation, and compliance with domestic and international shipping standards
- Coordinate global logistics across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, air freight, DHL, FedEx, etc.)
- Manage import/export documentation, customs requirements, and international shipping regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records (serial tracking, cycle counts, reconciliation)
- Stage and prepare equipment for deployment to global data center locations
- Assist with on-site work including:
- Trade show booth setup and teardown
- Data center work (rack & stack, hardware installs, cabling)
- Monitor and troubleshoot shipping issues, delays, and carrier performance
- Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding shipment status and logistics updates
- Provide reporting on inventory, shipments, and warehouse activity
- Ensure warehouse operations remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Oversee fulfillment center performance, ensuring proper stock levels and smooth operations
- Support onboarding and operational setup of new fulfillment centers (including APAC region)
What we are looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong working knowledge of international shipping, import/export regulations, and global freight coordination
- Experience working with carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight providers
- Ability to operate in a highly dynamic, hands-on environment (warehouse, travel, on-site work)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment (~50 lbs)
- Comfortable using inventory systems, spreadsheets, and logistics tools
- Willingness to learn and handle technical equipment (servers, networking gear)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
Bonus points for
- Fundamental understanding of networking (Layers 2–4)
- Experience handling or deploying network hardware
- Experience with DWDM/CWDM systems
- Experience managing cross-connects in data centers
- Experience with global logistics operations at scale
- Experience supporting trade shows or field operations
