What you will bring to the team
The Facilities Operation Specialist is responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of projects that impact multiple departments, systems, or workflows with moderate to high risk and complexity or multiple projects simultaneously with lesser risk and complexity. The Facility Coordinator works with the Facility Manager to ensure account operations are in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget. The Facility Coordinator will schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls, and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans.
What you will be doing:
- Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company.
- Work with External Partners and Suppliers
- Maintains open lines of communication with internal customers, facilities vendors, service providers, site landlord, and operations managers.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
- Ensure coordination of the interfaces of all disciplines within Operations.
- Responsible to track project changes and producing updated site-based schedules as agreed with upper management.
- Maintain inventory levels.
- Code invoices for approval to correct cost centers and process for payment.
Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of
- Academic background: Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial), architecture, administration or related career.
- Work experience: Minimum 2 years in similar positions in facilities, maintenance or property management areas.
- Technical knowledge:
Vendor and contract management.
Maintenance of infrastructure and electrical systems, HVAC, etc.
Health and safety regulations (NOM's, EHS). - Skills:
Microsoft 365, intermediate-advanced level.
AutoCAD, basic-intermediate level (desirable). - Languages: Intermediate-advanced English (desirable).
