Position Summary
This position is responsible for driving sales and supporting business development within the cryogenic market sector. The Cryogenic Sales Engineer will combine technical expertise with strong customer relationship skills to support existing customers, identify new opportunities, and align Intelliconnect’s interconnect products with customer requirements in the cryogenic field.

Develop new business and manage existing customer accounts by selling cryogenic cable assemblies, connectors, and adaptors. Provide technical consultation, build strong customer relationships, and act as a bridge between engineering and commercial functions.

To expand Intelliconnect’s footprint in the global cryogenic market, increase revenue, and strengthen partnerships with OEMs in sectors such as quantum computing, scientific research, and medical technologies.

- Driving sales and account growth in the cryogenic sector.

- Representing Intelliconnect at exhibitions and industry forums (including potential overseas travel).
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Business-related discipline – desirable but not essential.
Experience:
- Experience in a technical sales role within an engineered or high-tech product environment.
- Exposure to working with customer-led technical specifications.
- Familiarity with the cryogenic market or precision-engineered components preferred.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of cryogenic systems, low-temperature applications, or related high-reliability sectors (e.g., aerospace, quantum, scientific instrumentation).
Skills:
- Must have strong communication, technical selling, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and close opportunities.
- Able to work across departments to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Strong business and commercial awareness.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Development & Technical Engagement:
- Take ownership of revenue growth in cryogenic vertical markets.
- Identify and convert new customer opportunities.
- Provide technical advice and insight during pre-sales engagements.
- Support custom product development based on customer feedback.
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Manage and develop existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Generate and manage opportunities through strategic outreach and CRM tools.
- Contribute to strategic account plans and personal sales targets.
Market & Product Insight:
- Stay current with industry trends and customer requirements.
- Contribute to product innovation by sharing market insights with engineering and design teams.
- Represent Intelliconnect at industry events and exhibitions globally.
Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required:
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Assist in bid preparation, quotations, and technical proposals.
Internal and External Relationships
Internal: Engineering, Production, Design, Sales & Marketing Director.
External: Cryogenic OEMs, scientific institutions, industry networks, research labs, partners/distributors.
