Reports To: VP JAPAC, based in Singapore

At Verkada, we're redefining physical security with cloud-first solutions that protect people and places in a privacy sensitive way. As the Country Manager, you will drive strategy, build a high-performing sales organisation, and cultivate key partnerships to establish Verkada as a leader in the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a winning strategy for the Korean market to achieve high double-digit growth and long-term success.
  • Lead by example as a hands-on leader, setting the tone for a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
  • Recruit, mentor, and empower a dynamic local go-to-market team, ensuring both individual and team success.
  • Build and leverage an extensive network of key partners - including VARs, resellers, and security integrators to drive scalable growth.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with Korean enterprise customers, aligning on long-term strategic objectives.
  • Build a sustainable mid-market engine, focused on driving consistent net-new logo acquisition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - including product, channel, and engineering to ensure local initiatives align with global priorities.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, data-driven insights, and market-specific feedback to inform strategic decisions at both regional and global levels.

Requirements

  • Proven success in senior sales leadership roles (e.g., Country Manager, Head of Korea, or similar), ideally in a high-growth, channel-driven organisation.
  • Track record of building and scaling teams, with experience as the first hire or early leader in a market and driving sustained results.
  • Deep understanding of the Korean business landscape, including how to navigate local buyer behavior and partner ecosystems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Demonstrated success working with VARs, resellers, and integrators, especially in complex B2B sales environments.
  • Experience in hardware, SaaS, or cloud-based solutions is a strong plus.
