Wolt is a technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get things from best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to home or to the office. Our local commerce platform connects customers, merchants, and couriers – powered by a suite of technologies built in-house. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Platform Efficiency team. This team plays a key role in optimizing our delivery operations – ensuring that our courier partners are motivated, efficient, and set up for success. If you’re analytical, hands-on, and excited to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, this role might be for you.

What you’ll be doing

As an Operations Specialist, you'll be at the heart of making sure our courier operations run smoothly and efficiently across our cities. You’ll work closely with data, tools, and cross-functional teams to continuously improve courier experience and operational performance.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Owning our payment model in each of our cities
  • Managing Courier earning levels and making sure we are being market competitive and keeping our Courier partners happy
  • Driving up the efficiency of our Courier partners by optimizing delivery settings
  • Improving task acceptance rate on city and country level
  • Analyzing data on vehicle level and suggesting the optimal mix for each city
  • Creating payment rules
  • Managing and optimizing city delivery configurations, including the expansion of current delivery areas
  • Supporting and communicating with other functions
  • Creating and leading special projects
  • Solving inbound inquiries from other teams
  • Assisting in everyday and ad-hoc tasks

  • You are an analytical individual who is excited to dive into numbers and details. This means looking for patterns in our operational data by utilizing looker and excel to identify areas of opportunity for your given area, always using data to back up your hypothesis
  • Ability to lead by example and show the direction, as well as the genuine will to support your team members
  • A fast learner and attentive to both small details and the bigger picture
  • You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • You can manage ‘freedom under responsibility’ and are able to manage your own tasks and schedule
  • Fluent in English

Austria Pay Range:

€3.699 - €6.870 EUR

Slovakia Pay Range:

€1.470 - €2.731 EUR
