What you’ll be doing
About the role:
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented operations professional to join our back-office team at Wolt. This role involves handling administrative processes, liaising with government offices and legal partners, supporting our couriers, and managing internal coordination. Strong communication skills in Hebrew and English, high organizational ability, and confidence in email correspondence are key.
What business needs is the role filling?
- Support for a rapidly growing base of ~20,000 independent couriers in Israel
- Manage complex operational and compliance tasks tied to financial transparency and accuracy
- Ensure regulatory alignment and robust execution of critical financial workflows, particularly those involving garnishments and tax compliance
- Support one of the company’s most sensitive and expanding operational areas, requiring precision, structure, and confident collaboration with government authorities
- Maintain and improve trust in one of the most sensitive parts of the courier experience: earnings
Must haves
Fluent in Hebrew and English (written and verbal) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple workflows independently and efficiently - Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, Snowflake, Favro
Nice to haves
Background in payments, Back office, invoicing, or compliance - Experience working with independent contractors or field operations
Collaboration with:
Courier partners across Israel - Internal teams: Finance, Legal, Operations, CX, Onboarding - Government authorities (e.g., tax offices) - External vendors such as invoicing providers
