Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our product team and have a direct impact on establishing Workato as the leader in Enterprise Orchestration, building on our foundation as the #1 integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).

In this role, you will lead the launch of products and programs to drive awareness, engagement, and usage of Workato. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality with extreme attention to detail. This role will drive a product content strategy to help our prospects and customers understand what is possible with Workato’s Enterprise Orchestration platform. We need someone who is an action-oriented leader who can build unique, compelling content to enable customers, partners, and internal teams to better understand and use the product.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Launch planning & execution. Build strong relationships with Product Management to develop a deep understanding of the product roadmap and drive successful GTM launches. Develop comprehensive platform narratives in collaboration with Product and Segment Marketing teams. Effectively translate technical platform aspects into clear and compelling positioning across the organization.

  • Technical content creation & evangelism: Serve as the technical subject matter expert on the Workato platform, leveraging your knowledge to create product presentations, videos, whitepapers, guides, blogs, and technical briefs. Evangelize these assets as a thought leader to sell to technical personas.

  • Communication of Complex Concepts: Translate detailed and complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives for prospects and customers, working closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment.

  • Product positioning & strategy: Connect automation, integration, orchestration, and agentic trends to Workato to build robust product positioning and messaging for key use cases. Act as a bridge between customer insights and internal product strategy.

  • Product expert to customers and partners: Evangelize and demonstrate Workato products externally, engaging with prospects and customers in meetings, webinars, and other forums. Serve as a thought leader to articulate Workato differentiators, use cases, and technology.

  • Competitive analysis: Maintain expertise on the market landscape, including competitive features and differentiators. Conduct in-depth technical competitive research and analysis to produce competitive content for the field.

  • Cross-team partnership: Partner with product, segment marketing, solutions, and customer success teams to deliver slide decks, tutorials, demos, videos, and technical whitepapers that align with our GTM initiatives.

  • Team culture: As a key member of the Product & Segment marketing team, you’ll play a critical role in driving team culture, strategy, and visibility across the organization.

  • Product enablement for Sales/CS: Host product enablement training sessions for customer-facing teams on key capabilities, new features, product roadmap, and competitive differentiators—ensuring the organization is well-informed and experts at articulating the value of Workato’s Enterprise Orchestration platform.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of technical product marketing experience in roles related to cloud, app development, infrastructure, or IT operations, with the ability to quickly learn and compare new technologies for feature parity.

  • Preferred background in Technical Product Marketing, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Writing, or Product Management, with a passion for cloud products and integration platforms.

  • Expertise preferred in cloud, microservices, integration, automation, low-code/no-code applications, and APIs.

  • Proven skills in technical marketing, including solution customization and product demonstrations, with a strong ability to write and create effective technical content (e.g., white papers, briefs, and test reports) that balances technical accuracy, strategic insight, and compelling messaging for external audiences.

  • Customer-focused storyteller with the creativity and writing skills to communicate technical concepts authentically, building materials that resonate with customers and prospects.

  • Confident presenter, capable of demonstrating products to diverse audiences (internal and external, live and recorded).

  • Excellent communicator who can manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment from concept to execution.

  • Self-motivated and action-oriented, able to work independently.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Camtasia, ScreenFlow, or DemoEasel, with exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills.

For California applicants, the pay for this role begins at $180,000 plus benefits, perks, and equity.
