Why we are hiring:

One of the client teams in WPP is looking for an Account Manager to join their busy team. This is a critical role, responsible for nurturing and growing key client relationships. The Account Manager will be a proactive problem-solver, a strategic thinker, and a strong communicator, capable of creating inspiring content, building compelling pitches, and managing client expectations effectively.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Own, manage, and develop key relationship(s), building trust and rapport to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Proactively identify business needs and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, media, etc.) and external clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Craft compelling narratives and develop presentations that inspire action and drive client success.
  • Present strategic recommendations and project updates to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic pitches and projects.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for client communications, including thought leadership, presentations, and business updates.
  • Provide team members with the insights they need to support our client, including market trends, competitive analysis, and client performance data.
  • Manage and maintain client communication calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery of information.
  • Share client feedback and insights with internal teams to improve our services and offerings.

 

What you will need:

  • Experience as an account manager, preferably within a creative or integrated
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising landscape and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing content strategies for client engagement.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and informative content and translate complex information into clear and concise messaging.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience developing and presenting pitches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and email marketing platforms
