Senior Software Engineer (Mobile)

Auckland
  • 6+ years of experience in Flutter development with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Spearhead the entire development lifecycle of the Zip Mobile App in NZ.
  • Work flexibly with two team connect days a week in the office.

As a part of the NZ Technology team, you will take end-to-end ownership of the product offering in NZ, from mobile checkout and customer portals to server APIs, payments, and accounts. This is a hands-on role where you'll be empowered to work at pace on a broad range of technology, enjoying regular releases and seeing your work quickly impact our customers' lives.

What you'll own

  • Build and maintain seamless, secure, and sustainable apps for the NZ market.
  • Take full ownership of mobile project timelines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative mobile solutions.

  • Expert knowledge of cross platform Flutter development, rx.dart, Firebase and app release management across iOS and Android.
  • Proven experience working with Cloud-based technologies (Azure preferred).
  • Experience in event driven architecture (event sourcing preferred).
  • Sofware Development experience with .Net core & React is advantageous.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn, and grow.
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
