What We Need:
The Product Manager is a member of the Sports* Product Management team, responsible for driving overall game success across multiple key AAA sports franchises, including PGA TOUR 2K, WWE 2K, TopSpin 2K, and more. This role will focus on designing and executing live service strategies that elevate player engagement, retention, and monetization while supporting the development of future product enhancements.
As a Product Manager, your primary responsibility will be managing the operations of our games-as-a-service, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Studios, Production, Marketing, Analytics, and Design, to deliver high-quality, data-informed solutions. You will utilize user testing, A/B testing, and player insights to refine game features, content, and economies, ensuring exceptional player experiences and strong business outcomes. You will excel at identifying opportunities to improve our products, building collaborative relationships across disciplines, and delivering innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and deeply passionate about games, with a commitment to building engaging, player-first experiences that also align with strategic business goals. You will play a critical role in delivering business performance, while also keeping in mind the best interest of our players.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Drive the development of engaging live service strategies and activations. Hypothesize, test, and iterate on initiatives that positively impact player engagement and key performance metrics.
- Campaign Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and optimize in-game content, promotions, and updates. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure seamless go-to-market plans for major releases.
- User Testing & A/B Testing: Collaborate with Analytics and Design teams to define testing frameworks and execute user testing and A/B testing campaigns. Leverage results to optimize in-game experiences, features, and monetization systems.
- Performance Management: Work closely with Analytics to establish KPI frameworks, telemetry requirements, and reporting systems to inform key product decisions and enhance player experiences.
- Market Intelligence & Insights: Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, emerging gameplay mechanics, and live service best practices to inform future content planning and game improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and studios to recommend and optimize engaging features, mechanics, and systems that enhance player experiences and drive business outcomes.
- Player Advocate: Champion the player's perspective throughout the product lifecycle. Build fair and balanced monetization models that align business goals with a positive player experience.
- Team Mentoring and Management: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment to achieve product goals and drive successful live service operations.

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Product Management experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience working with live service models, including player engagement strategies, content planning, and monetization systems.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a track record of applying data insights to improve KPIs and drive product growth.
- Proven ability to define testing frameworks, manage A/B testing campaigns, and implement results to enhance product performance.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to build, launch, and optimize high-impact live service features.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Passion for or clear understanding of professional sports and sports fandom
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,400 and $145,620 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
