Chief Commercial Officer
Position Overview:
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for managing the overall commercial strategy and ensuring that new markets are identified, partnerships are secured, and that our commercial and business strategies are aligned. You will also be responsible for overseeing accesso’s commercial team including Sales and Marketing. The CCO role is a high-visibility position, requiring strong communication skills and the responsibility of being called upon to positively represent the organization in the community and in the media. You are a leader who is viewed by others as having a high degree of integrity and forethought in your approach to making decisions. You are transparent and consistent in thought while always considering what is best for the organization.
The CCO must maintain the highest level of integrity and lead by example in all areas.
Location: This role offers 100% remote flexibility anywhere in the US, UK, or Canada.
Reports to: CEO
Travel ✈️ Requirement: up to 40% to accesso Office/Client Locations
What you’ll be working on:
- Proven ability to operate and manage a high-performing global sales team, driving cross-regional collaboration, alignment on strategic goals, and consistent revenue growth across diverse markets.
- Demonstrated track record in developing and executing international go-to-market sales strategies, enabling market expansion, customer acquisition, and scalable revenue growth in global territories.
- Provide daily leadership and management that exemplifies the company’s mission and core values, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Support the company in achieving and exceeding sales, profitability, cash flow, and overall business objectives through strategic leadership and execution excellence
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative commercial/revenue strategy leveraging technology, data analytics, and digital platforms to drive business growth, increase market share, and enhance brand presence.
- Develop pricing strategies, manage budgets, and track key performance metrics to ensure commercial objectives are met.
- Lead and expand strategic partnerships, direct high-performing sales teams, and identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth and expand market presence.
- Align marketing initiatives with revenue objectives, optimizing digital channels and loyalty programs.
- Oversee revenue optimization strategies to ensure alignment with business goals, driving sustainable growth and maximizing profitability.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless integration of revenue initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on data-driven decision-making and continuous innovation.
- Serve as a key representative of the company to clients, investors, and strategic partners, strengthening relationships and enhancing the company’s market reputation.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost reduction, contributing to overall profitability improvement
- Analyzing complex situations, weighing pros and cons, and making informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of relevant data
- Demonstrates a decisive and confident approach in high-pressure situations, ensuring timely and effective decision-making
What you bring to the role:
- BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MS/MBA strongly preferred
- Proven experience as Chief Commercial or Revenue Officer or a similar relevant senior role in the technology and hospitality industries
- Proven record of success scaling revenue operations and driving sustained growth.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost reduction, contributing to overall profitability improvement
- Extensive experience with enterprise sales, contract negotiation, and relationship management
- Deep understanding of the hospitality industry’s technology needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and public speaking skills, both practiced and impromptu
- Ability to comfortably and energetically present the company and its products publicly
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent
- Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations
