We are seeking a seasoned Electrical & Electronics (EE) Component Engineer with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate excels in both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration, with a proven ability to manage complex EE components and supplier relationships. You should be an independent, strategic thinker who can drive product strategy, influence stakeholders, and mentor others. Responsibilities:

Develop and document electrical and/or electronic components, including simulations and related technical documentation.

Define component requirements and communicate them effectively to external suppliers.

Lead supplier interactions, manage task distribution, and oversee supplier relationships to ensure delivery quality and timelines.

Recommend, evaluate, and select new components and suppliers that align with internal standards and strategic goals.

Secure cross-functional alignment and business buy-in for component development and implementation.

Own the operational and strategic execution of the product roadmap for a set of complex or high-volume EE components.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and peers.

Serve as a role model for continuous learning, sharing expertise as a coach or trainer within the organization.

Expand your technical expertise while also building a T-shaped profile with broader business and system understanding.

Collaborate and build influence across departments and with key business stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in EE component development, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Strong understanding of component simulation, documentation, and requirement setting.

Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and evaluating component suppliers.

Proven ability to lead and deliver product strategy roadmaps for EE components.

Experience working with complex components and/or coordinating multiple simpler components in large systems.

Skilled in cross-functional communication and securing alignment between engineering, purchasing, and business stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to work.

Ability to operate confidently within a large, collaborative, and global organizational network.
Salary Range: $70,000-85,000
