We are seeking a seasoned Electrical & Electronics (EE) Component Engineer with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate excels in both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration, with a proven ability to manage complex EE components and supplier relationships. You should be an independent, strategic thinker who can drive product strategy, influence stakeholders, and mentor others. Responsibilities:

• Develop and document electrical and/or electronic components, including simulations and related technical documentation.

• Define component requirements and communicate them effectively to external suppliers.

• Lead supplier interactions, manage task distribution, and oversee supplier relationships to ensure delivery quality and timelines.

• Recommend, evaluate, and select new components and suppliers that align with internal standards and strategic goals.

• Secure cross-functional alignment and business buy-in for component development and implementation.

• Own the operational and strategic execution of the product roadmap for a set of complex or high-volume EE components.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and peers.

• Serve as a role model for continuous learning, sharing expertise as a coach or trainer within the organization.

• Expand your technical expertise while also building a T-shaped profile with broader business and system understanding.

• Collaborate and build influence across departments and with key business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EE component development, with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Ability to work fully onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina.

• Strong understanding of component simulation, documentation, and requirement setting.

• Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and evaluating component suppliers.

• Proven ability to lead and deliver product strategy roadmaps for EE components.

• Experience working with complex components and/or coordinating multiple simpler components in large systems.

• Skilled in cross-functional communication and securing alignment between engineering, purchasing, and business stakeholders.

• A natural mentor with a passion for developing others and fostering a culture of learning.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to work.

• Ability to operate confidently within a large, collaborative, and global organizational network.

Salary Range: $70,000-85,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
