Job Description:
Johnson Barrow, Inc., a leading Commercial HVAC Manufacturers Representative Firm, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Assistant / Inside Sales Associate with a strong emphasis on sales. This position will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for sales.
Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
· Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, product information, and order processing.
· Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
· Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
· Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively address customer inquiries and upsell opportunities.
· Provide outstanding customer service to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Warehouse Operations:
· Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and timely stocking of products.
· Perform inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and order fulfillment.
· Prepare shipments and ensure accurate documentation for outbound orders.
· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for efficient operations.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
· Assist in maintaining sales records, customer databases, and reports.
· Monitor sales metrics and generate periodic sales reports for management review.
· Identify sales trends and opportunities to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
· 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse environment
· Experience with internation shipping to between Canada and the US a strong plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus.
Compensation
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly pay range of $25-30/hr and eligibility for overtime pay.
