Business Development Representative

Summary: Join Amtech LLC as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a pivotal role in driving our growth across North America. You'll focus on building a robust sales pipeline and supporting Account Executives by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities across the market
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities (phone, email, LinkedIn, events) to generate and qualify leads
  • Book and qualify discovery meetings for the Account Executives, ensuring prospects are a strong fit
  • Collaborate with the AEs to tailor outreach and messaging for the packaging industry
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, activity, and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Work closely with marketing to follow up on campaign responses and event leads
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to continuously improve prospecting strategies and sales processes
  • Report on weekly and monthly progress towards targets and KPIs

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role (BDR/SDR)
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation targets
  • Confident communicator across phone, email, and LinkedIn; comfortable engaging senior decision-makers
  • Resilient and positive attitude, with the ability to handle objections and keep moving forward.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, results-oriented approach
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales engagement tools (Apollo, Salesloft, Outreach, etc.)
  • Packaging industry knowledge and ERP experience is an advantage
