Role Description

 

Amtech LLC is seeking a Senior Product Owner to support and grow our operations in India. The UX Designer will play a key role in shaping the user experience across Amtech’s suite of products, including our EnCore ERP, business intelligence tools, and customer portals. This role combines user research, interaction design, and prototyping to create interfaces that make complex manufacturing workflows simple and efficient. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Customers to translate industry challenges into elegant, usable, and modern software experiences

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

User Research & Discovery

• Conduct user interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability tests with customers to understand their goals and pain points.
• Translate insights into user personas, journey maps, and workflow
• Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize user needs and define product

Experience & Interface Design

• Design intuitive, data-rich interfaces that simplify complex operational
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web-based and mobile
• Define and maintain UX standards and design patterns across Amtech’s product

ecosystem.

• Work closely with UI designers and developers to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity and usability.

Collaboration & Communication

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, demos) as part of cross- functional teams.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–6 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex business or SaaS
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design work on data-intensive or workflow-driven applications.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping
• Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and collaborate across

 

• Experience conducting usability testing and iterating based on
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility
• Experience designing ERP, manufacturing, or industrial software
• Familiarity with information architecture and data visualization for dashboards or reporting tools.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end development principles (a plus, not required).
