About the team

Angi is on a mission to help homeowners love where they live, and the Marketing team is at the forefront of this effort. From understanding our consumers and their desires to designing communications and placing ads in the most relevant spots, Angi’s marketing team is dedicated to sharing Angi’s value with the world. Our Brand Media team plays a crucial role in driving effective media strategies to reach and engage our audience.

Angi’s Brand Media team is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and data-driven media professional to help build and be a part of a world-class media team. The Media Strategy Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Brand Media Buying & Strategy and assist with planning TV (Linear & Streaming), Radio (Terrestrial & Streaming), and other offline channels across the national brand, Angi.

What you’ll do

  • Build partnerships with our Senior Negotiator to apply marketplace pricing & trends to media strategy
  • Work closely with marketing analytics and data science teams to develop insights & manage the buy implications of performance
  • Understand and react to changes in media landscapes
  • In collaboration with the Sr. Director and Associate, identify, develop, and implement the 2025 brand media strategy and 2024 testing opportunities
  • Conduct various R/F scenarios to understand how changes in media mix and budget will impact the holistic budget and goals
  • Understand media consumption patterns and how shifts affect the overall offline media plan
  • Ongoing budget allocation & maintenance
  • Work cross-functionally with creative & buying teams to ensure proper trafficking communication is in place (spot estimates, deadlines, etc.)

Who you are

  • 4-7 years of media planning experience; experience with response/metrics-focused brands preferred
  • 2+ years of management experience, as you will be managing a junior strategist
  • Proven success in managing large media budgets with high-performance expectations
  • A solid mastery of the nuts and bolts of media planning through all phases (planning, buying & post)
  • Experience with direct response TV, upfront TV, Radio, Streaming Audio, and Streaming TV planning
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Looker
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and draw actionable insights
  • Proficiency with Nielsen products (reach/frequency/planning), iSpot, AdIntel, Kantar, and Simmons/MRI

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $75,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living. 
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
