Sr. Industrialization & Scheduling Manager

The Senior Industrialization & Scheduling Manager will play a critical role in scaling Archer’s manufacturing operations by merging industrial engineering expertise with advanced scheduling and resource management. This senior position is responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and developing strategic manufacturing plans. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, and leadership.
What You'll Do:
Leadership and Team Development: Ensure operational readiness by participating in build reviews, executing build plans, and driving production schedules.
- Establish and lead a high-performing Industrial Engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and individual career aspirations.
- Serve as a collaborative partner across functions, driving change and standardizing processes to achieve operational excellence.
Industrial Engineering Excellence:
- Conduct detailed analyses of production workflows, manpower requirements, and manufacturing performance.
- Design, develop, and implement optimized facility layouts, equipment placements, and material handling systems to enhance productivity.
- Drive automation initiatives for production processes, including project planning, execution, and evaluation of outcomes.
- Lead efforts to implement lean manufacturing techniques such as JIT, Kanban, and manufacturing cells to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Lead, develop and maintain time standards, labor metrics, and performance measures for various operations.
- Utilize advanced Continuous Improvement tools to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and resource maximization.
Scheduling and Resource Optimization:
- Develop comprehensive production schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
- Monitor capacity constraints and proactively adjust resource allocation to mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery.
- Establish KPIs to track scheduling efficiency, capacity utilization, and production performance.
- Oversee equipment maintenance planning and ensure compliance with inspection intervals to minimize downtime.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support:
- Interface with engineering, quality, IT, and program management teams to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Provide feedback for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) enhancements to improve shop floor workflows and dashboards.
- Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement training programs for process changes, system improvements, and Continuous Improvement tools.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations, preferably within aerospace or automotive industries.
- Extensive leadership experience, including managing teams and driving organizational change.
- Proven track record of optimizing production processes and implementing advanced scheduling techniques.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing methodologies and workflow optimization.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electronic assembly processes, high-voltage systems, and advanced manufacturing tools.
- Advanced proficiency in software tools such as PLM, MES, ERP systems, and data analysis platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent advanced certifications.
- Knowledge of AS9100 requirements, aircraft safety standards, and industrial automation systems.
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Certifications in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, batteries, and electric motor systems.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $137,445 - $149,573. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
