The Role:
We are looking to hire a visionary and technically astute Vice President of Data to lead our growing data organization. This is a critical global leadership role where you will be instrumental in driving our data strategy and leveraging data to fuel our continued expansion. You will build and lead a high-performing team of data professionals, ensuring we extract maximum value from our data assets.
As VP of Data, you will spearhead Aspire's data strategy, leading a team of 25+ across analytics, science, engineering, and BI to drive data-informed decision-making. This includes architecting scalable data infrastructure, deploying advanced analytics and machine learning models, ensuring robust data governance and compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver actionable insights that fuel our rapid growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
- Proven track record of success in a Senior Data Leadership role within a fast-paced global FinTech environment, ideally within Neobanking or Payments company
- Strong technical background with deep expertise in data engineering, data science, and data analytics.
- Extensive experience building and managing high-performing data teams.
- Expertise in modern data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for data and its ability to drive business growth.
- Experience scaling a data organization during hyper growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Location is flexible but the willingness being based in (or able to relocate to) Singapore is a HUGE plus
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
