Ecosystem Marketing Intern
Location: San Jose, California, United States
Employment type: Internship
About the role
We are looking for an Ecosystem Marketing Intern to help connect Astera Labs’ connectivity solutions with the partners, technologies, and market opportunities that shape cloud and AI infrastructure. As part of the Solutions & Ecosystem team, you will work at the intersection of technical market intelligence, ecosystem partnerships, interoperability, and go-to-market strategy.
This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how ecosystem insights become product positioning, partner programs, customer-facing content, and event demos. You will collaborate with Product & Platform, Engineering, Product Applications, Sales, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, and external ecosystem partners to make complex technical and market information clear, actionable, and useful.
What you’ll do
-
Track hardware and software vendor roadmaps across connectivity technologies such as PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, NVLink, and UALink.
-
Monitor data-center market trends, customer needs, industry developments, competitive activity, and adoption signals to identify opportunities and risks.
-
Share timely market, business, and competitive intelligence with internal stakeholders through structured updates, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
-
Analyze enterprise-market priorities, buying criteria, use cases, growth opportunities, and other factors that inform ecosystem and go-to-market strategy.
-
Build and maintain frameworks for demo planning, prioritization, ownership, readiness, scheduling, and follow-up across a rolling planning horizon.
-
Develop interoperability summaries and dashboards that communicate completed testing, supported configurations, test coverage, status, and upcoming milestones across partner products.
-
Help prepare partner and customer-facing presentations, demo collateral, messaging, and other content that positions Astera Labs products and solutions.
-
Support partner events and joint go-to-market activities by coordinating demo details, materials, timelines, and follow-up actions.
-
Work with Engineering, Marketing, Product Applications, Sales, and Business Development teams to translate external trends and partner feedback into product requirements or go-to-market strategies.
-
Support internal alignment meetings through scheduling, note-taking, action-item tracking, and clear follow-through.
-
Turn technical and industry research into shareable recurring updates that help Product & Platform and Sales teams stay informed.
What you bring
-
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, engineering, computer science, marketing, or a related field.
-
Foundational knowledge of connectivity technologies used in cloud and AI infrastructure, such as PCIe and CXL.
-
General understanding of server architecture, including CPU, memory, networking, and storage components, and how they affect system performance and total cost of ownership.
-
Ability to organize and interpret technical, market, and business data using structured analysis, reporting, or dashboarding approaches.
-
Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize technical concepts for business and product audiences.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, lab staff, product teams, sales partners, and ecosystem partners.
-
Demonstrated ownership, organization, curiosity, and ability to manage details across multiple projects.
Preferred qualifications
-
Understanding of data-center hardware and software markets, especially cloud infrastructure, AI training, inference, and emerging applications.
-
Familiarity with ecosystem standards or industry organizations such as OCP, PCI-SIG, CXL Consortium, UALink Consortium, or IEEE.
-
Experience creating market analyses, technical summaries, presentations, dashboards, or other business-facing materials.
-
Experience collaborating with hardware or software engineering partners in a cross-functional environment.
-
Interest in industry trends, partner roadmaps, interoperability, and how technology choices affect customer adoption.
