AI Enablement Specialist/Engineer – GenAI & Automation FoxInsights

Context
As FoxInsights scales, we are increasingly relying on AI-powered workflows and automations across Growth, Support, and Operations. Until now, these initiatives have been distributed across different teams - often implemented ad-hoc by whoever had the technical bandwidth. To unlock real leverage from tools like Intercom Fin AI, Lemlist, and our internal Installation Management processes, we need a dedicated role that builds and maintains the AI & automation backbone - the glue between our systems and teams.
The Role
This is not a traditional ML engineering job. You won’t be training foundational models - you’ll be the one who makes AI actually work inside the business. You’ll sit at the intersection of growth, product, operations, and engineering, and own the implementation of AI-powered workflows, tools, and integrations - from connecting APIs and building webhooks to designing small micro-services that glue LLMs, CRMs, and ticketing systems together.

What You'll Work On
Here’s a taste of the projects ahead in your first 6-12 months:
- Growth & Lead Gen Automation: Implement tools like Lemlist, Apollo, or Clay, integrate them with our CRM, and automate enrichment, sequencing, and lead qualification workflows.
- AI Support Automation: Deepen our Intercom Fin AI setup by building custom connectors, webhooks, and back-end endpoints to enable fully automated ticket triage and resolution.
- Professional Services Automation: Rebuild and automate parts of our “Installation Management” process, replacing fragile infrastructure with robust internal tooling.
- AI-Driven Marketing: Integrate LLMs and content-generation tools into our marketing workflows for automated content creation, posting, and campaign execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom automation scripts, APIs, and integrations between internal systems and third-party AI tools.
- Prototype and deploy small backend services (often Python/Node) to orchestrate workflows across different platforms.
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing, and Support teams to understand business problems and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Manage webhooks, event-driven pipelines, and data flows to ensure tools talk to each other reliably.
- Evaluate new AI tools and platforms, run PoCs, and lead their technical implementation.
- Build internal dashboards or simple UIs to monitor automation health and performance.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in backend development (Python, Node.js, or similar).
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and cloud platforms.
- A builder’s mindset — you’re happiest when you’re connecting tools, shipping small services, and solving real business problems.
- Familiarity with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.) and experience integrating them into products or workflows.
- Understanding of automation tools and platforms (Zapier, n8n, Make, LangChain, etc.) is a plus.
- Bonus: exposure to CRM, marketing, or support platforms (HubSpot, Lemlist, Intercom) and how they integrate into broader systems.
