Betsson Group is seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented CRM expert with a "can-do" attitude to join our Global CRM & Engagement department. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an amazing team of CRM and sports enthusiasts.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the successful end-to-end delivery of Sportsbook Global Promotions designed to engage and entertain the group’s wider customer base beyond the game play. In this role you are responsible for promotions such as The Million, Sportsbook Leaderboards, and prize draws, all with big headline prizes aimed to offer an attractive ‘shop window’ to achieve brand loyalty.

To be successful in this role, you need a strong understanding of various sports, competitions, and leagues both globally and in Betsson’s key markets, along with a genuine passion for sports to understand what drives and motivates customers.

THE CHALLENGE:

You will definitely be busy! Here is a taste of what you will be involved with:

  • Sportsbook Promotions Calendar: Design the CRM global promotions calendar, focusing on above-the-line, open-to-all, onsite campaigns centred around major global and local sporting events.
  • Price Boosts: Ensure a competitive Price Boost offering on popular global and local sports, competitions & leagues.
  • Project Management: Use JIRA to efficiently manage global promotions projects and tasks, and to maintain effective communications with all teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Engagement: Boost campaign participation by experimenting with creatives, copy, layouts, channels, reward types, and reward values.
  • CRM Budget & Optimisation: Manage the CRM spend budget for global promotions, collaborating with CRM Analytics to continuously fine-tune campaigns to achieve improved customer retention and performance.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of CRM Coordinators responsible for flawlessly executing global promotions across all CRM channels. Motivate and guide the team by setting clear goals and objectives, addressing knowledge gaps, and arranging CRM training as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all global promotions are executed on-brand with high quality output, whilst maintaining Betsson Groups high standards for competition fairness and integrity.
  • Localisation & Compliance: Optimise CRM plans to be relevant and localised for each market and collaborate with local market teams to understand key events, competitor activity, regulatory requirements, limitations, and local trends. When required, run highly localised onsite promotions in collaboration with a local market.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for campaign and process improvement within your team and the broader department, quantify their impact, and drive implementation.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Keep acquisition and regional teams informed about big headline promotions suitable for external marketing channels. Work closely with the Support team to optimise campaign customer journeys to reduce contact-drivers.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide reporting to senior stakeholders on the success of Sportsbook global promotions, demonstrating a deep understanding of what motivates Sportsbook customers.
  • CRM & VIP Analytics: Collaborate with our analytics team to establish cost projections and success metrics for global Sportsbook promotions.
  • Trading Teams: Collaborate with the trading team to set competitive prices for Price Boost offering.
  • Local Sportsbook Managers: Work closely with the local Sportsbook Managers to understand key sports events, leagues, and competitions that will be the key activity drivers in their market.
  • CRM Projects & Solutions: Offer feedback on enhancements to CRM tools and new player reward types and features. Conduct testing for new CRM product releases.
  • Regions: Collaborate with local copywriters to ensure full localisation of global promotions material, transforming global mechanics into local messages.
  • Design & Branding: Work with the branding and design team on the propositions of promotions, to ensure creative output in line with promotional goals.

YOU ARE GOOD AT:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ CRM experience, ideally from a similar role in the igaming industry.
  • Experience from working in a multi-brand and/or multi-market environment.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • Good understanding of player bonuses and incentives.
  • Excellent ability to interpret CRM data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and email marketing platforms, ideally from Salesforce or Xtremepush.
  • Strong understanding of various sports, competitions, and leagues both globally and in Betsson’s key markets, along with a genuine passion for sports to understand what drives and motivates customers.
  • Great project management skills, enabling you to handle multiple campaigns and tasks concurrently.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.

EXTRA AWESOME:

  • Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Latvian, Polish, or one of the Scandinavian languages is a significant plus.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in marketing, economics or business
