Incident Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a talented Incident Engineer for Europebet brand who will be involved in different processes and help us deliver the best customer experience in the industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Incident management for technical disruptions recorded during the operation of the products on the company's website;
• Timely response to technical disruptions, proper management throughout their lifecycle;
• Identification of the problem, determination of the causes of technical defects, and taking appropriate measures;
• Use of monitoring tools to detect faults in production;
• Written/verbal communication with the company's existing employees and providers;
• Response to technical changes implemented by providers/companies;
• Constant monitoring of communication channels (JIRA, Slack, MS Teams, Outlook, Skype) and monitoring of performance status;
• Management of employee accounts within the company and provision of their work programs/accounts based on relevant requests.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor degree, desirably in Information Technology or Computer Science;
• 2+ years of work experience in the role of Incident Management Engineer or a similar role;
• Experience working in English;
• Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals;
• Knowledge of HTTP status code categories;
• Experience in incident management (incident lifecycle);
• Effective verbal and written communication skills;
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN;
• Experience working with monitoring systems (network traffic and system log analysis, identifying anomalous events, failures);
• Experience in creating accounts in Active Directory;
• Experience in account management in the 365 Admin Center;
• Ability to diagnose problems and prioritize issues;
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems;
• Analytical thinking;
• Time management skills and the ability to set correct deadlines for performance.
