The role
The Investor Relations & Operations Analyst is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio and BCI Capital. This role will [insert text on how the role will play a pivotal role in ensuring that BCI’s Investor Relations function operates efficiently & effectively, helping us to provide an excellent level of client service to our investor base. In addition, the new joiner will have exposure to functions across the wider business, gaining skills & experience throughout functions including investments, operations and finance. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations support
- Supporting the senior IR team on delivering investor interactions and outreach, including:
- Preparing v1 drafts of written communications and investor correspondence
- Handling investor requests for information, including coordination with relevant stakeholders (e.g. fund administrator)
- Playing a key role in investor onboarding/offboarding processes, and pipeline management
Investor record-keeping
- Methodically maintaining comprehensive records of relevant investor documentation
- As required, coordinating with investors and relevant stakeholders in updating information held
Operations team support
- Supporting BCI’s Operations team in completing the investor-specific aspects of its work, including around investor dealing and statements
- Supporting BCI’s COO on ad hoc, value-added tasks
About you
We are looking for a self-starting junior Investor Relations professional to join the BCI Capital team. In supporting our senior IR team, headed by the CEO, you’ll build experience and increased client-facing exposure within a leading investment manager with a >10-year track record. As a growing and entrepreneurial business, we can offer you the opportunity to take ownership and fast-track your growth. We are looking to meet with enthusiastic candidates who, if successful, would roll up their sleeves to help us drive the success of the business.
Skills & Experience:
- This role would likely suit candidates with one to two years of professional experience, ideally within the financial services space, though we encourage applications from candidates from all professional backgrounds / levels of experience
- Desirable technical/specialist knowledge and skills:
- First-rate written and verbal English, comfortable with drafting professional correspondence
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and DocuSign
- Proficiency in managing CRM systems (preferably Salesforce-based)
