The role
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice processing & Management
- Payment processing
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Vendor Management
- Budgeting
- Compliance and Record keeping
- Collaboration and continuous improvements
About you
The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.
Must have:
- Minimum experience 5-7 years
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles (Advanced Accounting knowledge)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally ERP) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Relevant work experience in Vendor management and Trade Payables function.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to accounts payable. i.e. TDS & GST
- Experience in Month end reporting
- Data entry with accuracy and attention to details.
- Ensure that risks are flagged, and requisite controls and processes are adhered to.
- Excellent communication and email management skills
- Location: Andheri
- Shifts: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Nice to have:
- Able to multi-task and shift priorities based on the supervisor/stakeholder guidance.
- Strong ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with international payments or multi-currency transactions.
