
Intern, Legal & Compliance
We are looking for an Intern, Legal & Compliance to join our fast-paced Legal and Compliance Department for an 8-month term (September 2026- April 2027). You will report to the firm’s Compliance Manager and be a part of our very busy in-house Legal & Compliance team that delivers all things legal and compliance to Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group and its affiliated companies.
What You Will Do
• Coordinate the completion of annual corporate filings, working directly with Senior Executives
• Save and file corporate documents ensuring accurate tagging and naming conventions are used
• Update corporate reference documents and ensure they are current and accurate
• Open and sort mail related to personal trading
• Provide a broad range of support in the areas of regulatory compliance, corporate law and general legal administration
• Digitization of legal documents currently in paper format
What You Will Bring
The position is geared toward students either in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, and/or Commerce or students working towards a legal education. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact in process efficiencies at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group. The successful candidate will have:
- At least one previous internship or professional experience, ideally in legal, compliance, finance, or operations from a financial and/or investment firm
- Sound judgment, detail-oriented, and experience working on multiple initiatives/projects concurrently
- Strong written and verbal communication ability with excellent interpersonal skills and judgement
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard information
The salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 annually. The salary provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
