Summary: Responsible for leading the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. Collaborates with business and IT senior management to prioritize data needs, solve complex technical challenges, and enhance business decision-making through effective business intelligence tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and optimization of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications.
- Work with senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.
- Solve complex technical problems related to business intelligence tools and systems.
- Define data filtering and indexing methods to enhance tool performance.
- Create testing methodologies and criteria for business intelligence solutions.
- Design and implement training programs for customers on using business intelligence tools.
- Develop standards, policies, and procedures for business intelligence tools and systems.
- Establish data/information quality metrics to ensure high standards.
- Research and propose new technologies to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with large and complex database management systems and business intelligence tools.
- Proven expertise in leading technical roles and developing complex enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
- In-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring technical staff.
