Project Manager

COHO Construction Management is seeking a Construction Site/Project Manager to assist with managing various types of construction projects to include the daily management of facilities-construction activities in Altus, OK.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provide project management and supervision services on security and security related installations to included: customer and site coordination, subcontractor management, project sequencing and scheduling, budgeting, quality control and cost control
  • Provide pre-installation services to ensure client’s needs are met as project development take place
  • Support project teams with scope development
  • Participate in design reviews and value engineering exercises to efficiently and effectively deliver projects
  • Support project teams as needed to provide accurate and timely delivery during project execution phases
  • Identify risk issues and avoid and mitigate as needed to ensure project remains on time and on budget
  • Reviews constructability issues and provides alternative means and methods to resolve issues
  • Prepare and manage project execution budgets
  • Provide construction management expertise as needed to execute existing and new opportunities /projects

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Clearance:
    • Public Trust
    • Valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a passport if one is not currently held
  • Education:
    • H-S Diploma and Certifications and a Degree in construction related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • 5-10 years of construction and estimating experience
    • Ability to read and interpret complex construction specifications and documents
    • 4-7 years of diverse experience in construction management and facility management and renovation
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with government personnel, clients, architects, and subcontractors
    • Experience leading and developing trade and subcontractors
    • Experience in the installation of IT and Security systems
    • Self-motivated and efficient time management skills
    • Ability to undertake tight deadlines and schedule
    • Ability to develop detailed line-item estimates using established estimating database
    • Experience in construction projects throughout the country
    • Knowledge of and keen enforcement of OSHA safety regulations
    • Possesses strong mathematical and computer skills
    • Proficient with MS Office products
    • Ability to navigate construction sites efficiently and safely
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Possesses strong problem-solving skills
