Senior Management Analyst
Copper River Technologies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Management Analyst to support daily operations and execution within a Project Office. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate multiple taskings from higher headquarters (HQ), provide valuable support to program management (PM) activities, and assist in operations management. This role requires expertise in handling large volumes of data, preparing briefings, and coordinating efforts across various organizational departments. The Senior Management Analyst will also be responsible for tracking milestones, managing files, and ensuring the timely submission of responses to higher HQ suspense’s.
This position is on site at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Manage and support PM activities, ensuring alignment with higher HQ directives and providing operational value.
- Support Project Office daily operations, executing tasks efficiently and in accordance with established goals and timelines.
- Prepare and manage large amounts of information using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project to generate reports, briefings, and data for senior leaders.
- Develop and deliver briefings and presentations to senior leaders within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the U.S. Army.
- Assist in organizing and managing process improvements, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Oversee file management, ensuring efficient organization of documents and data across shared office environments.
- Coordinate various staff actions across the organization to ensure unity of effort and seamless execution of tasks.
- Track, capture, disseminate, and submit responses to suspense actions from higher HQ, ensuring timely completion.
- Monitor internal actions, directives, and milestones, providing status updates and follow-through.
- Compile, package, and coordinate major briefing events, including Quarterly Program Reviews, ensuring successful execution.
- Track personnel training and certifications in accordance with regulatory guidance and report status monthly to PdM/DPdM and higher HQ.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Clearance:
- Must possess a Secret security clearance.
- Education/Certifications:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) Certification or an equivalent credential.
- Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum of 20 years of program management experience, including demonstrated success in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven experience in supporting major research, engineering, and technology development programs, particularly for defense agencies.
- Strong background in handling complex tasks, managing resources, and ensuring the successful completion of assignments under tight deadlines.
- Experience in organizing and managing process improvements, file management, and large-scale data coordination.
- Knowledge of government contracting, budgeting, cost, and logistics processes.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project to manage and prepare reports, presentations, and data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with senior military and defense leadership.
- High-level organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in tracking milestones, schedules, and personnel certifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and coordinate efforts to meet objectives.
- In-depth understanding of DoD and Army operations and processes, particularly with regard to program management and strategic planning.
