VP, Media
As VP of Media, you will be responsible for leading and executing our media strategy across key client accounts. With over 10 years of diverse media experience and a strong focus on digital, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams of 10+ professionals. This role demands a confident and decisive leader who can communicate effectively in client-facing settings while driving strategy, planning, and recommendations informed by data-driven insights. Your leadership will be integral to shaping and optimizing media strategies that deliver measurable results for our client.
You Will:
- Lead and mentor a hybrid team (both in-person and remote).
- Oversee client relationships, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and budgets.
- Manage omni-channel campaigns and collaborate with social, creative, and other media teams.
- Drive performance media strategies, optimization, and ensure clients meet their KPIs.
- Attend regular client meetings.
- Act as a strategic advisor for the client, guiding them through the media planning process.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Partner with Strategy, Creative, Marketing Science and Client Services leads throughout the organization
- Support Marketing and Media Managers in reporting templates, management and presentations to clients.
- Be responsible for pulling and delivering accurate data in initial analyses.
- Provide insight into campaign analysis and optimization.
- Research and prepare new information for paid media plans, RFPs, and presentations.
- Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the display and emerging media community.
- Stay up-to-date on and advise the Marketing and Media groups on the latest trends in interactive marketing / media and developments.
- collaborating with cross-functional teams, including social leads, creatives, and account managers.
You Have:
- 10+ years of well-rounded media experience with a strong passion and focus on digital.
- MUST HAVE: auto industry and agency experience.
- Proven track record of managing teams of 10+ people.
- Ability to lead with authority, make decisive decisions, while maintaining a confident, clear voice.
- Skilled in using data to inform media strategy, planning, and recommendations.
- Experience working within both tier 1 and tier 2 media (national and regional).
- Outstanding ability to communicate effectively, particularly in client-facing settings.
- Strong understanding of key media channels, including search and social.
- Ability to mentor and guide directors, helping them grow professionally in their roles.
- Comfortable leading client meetings, driving performance media, and providing regular marketing pulse checks.
- Proven ability to lead and grow a team of media professionals.
- Experience with eMarketer, Nielsen, and comScore.
- Familiarity with Google ad products.
- Expert understanding of digital media and the digital landscape.
- Thorough knowledge of standard and rich media ad trafficking software for display, video, mobile, and other emerging channels.
- Passionate about digital media and staying on top of industry trends.
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations.

Salary Range
$210,000 - $250,000 USD
