Strategist

Toronto

As a Strategist, you bring key strategic guidance to multidisciplinary teams. You’re not fazed effectively communicating your findings to varying audiences—from creative to technical team members. And you have an intimate understanding of your client, their competitors, and key industry trends relating to their business. This allows you to develop customer insights, help define brand, business, and customer requirements, and ensure the impact of our work is measured throughout the project. You’re a rock star in at least two strategy disciplines—business analysis, qualitative consumer research, and web analytics—but we’ll welcome your balanced working knowledge of all. Most importantly, you live and breathe insights—about a client’s business, their competitors, and their customers.

You Will:

  • Work with clients to identify specific problems and challenges on a given project.
  •  Identify opportunities and define requirements for business analysis, qualitative consumer research, and web analytics tasks.
  • Become the authority on our client’s business sector, and provide key information and perspective on the client’s strategic direction in relation to its competitors.
  • Plan, execute, and coordinate pertinent research and analysis.
  • Analyze and present the results to clients and project teams.
  • Define lifecycle measurement strategies to derive key insights for website strategy development and optimization.
  • Develop studies and implement market research services in sector, industry, and competitive analyses; benchmarking existing solutions against competitors; and consumer research and insight.
  • Assist in the design and facilitation of qualitative consumer research (ie. usability testing, focus groups, field study), requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder interviews.
  •  Provide thought leadership in site measurement, research, and usability and propose approaches that improve our clients' economics and customer management capabilities.
  • Extend client relationships by helping clients define their needs and potential solutions and convince them of the value of I&P research and measurement services to their business.
  • Integrate strategy services and activities into a broader continuous improvement process internally

You Have:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Human Computer Interface or related subjects preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience in account planning, business analysis, qualitative research, quantitative research, web analytics, or metric analysis.
  • 2 years agency/consulting and Internet-related business experiences.
  • Experience developing proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex subject matter verbally and written.
  • Demonstrated ability in the marketing research and sciences areas to establish and analyze complex research studies.
  •  Teamwork and collaboration-oriented mindset.
  • Detail and results orientation.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
  • A commitment to learning.
