JOB PURPOSE

As a Finance Analyst within the finance department, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures. Your work will play a key role in supporting the company’s strategic decision-making. We are seeking someone with strong skills in critically evaluating data and building robust financial models to guide business decisions. You should be a proactive and analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems, communicating effectively with non-financial stakeholders, and working collaboratively as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will focus on developing and updating budgets and forecasts on existing models, analysing monthly financial performance, creating insightful KPIs, supporting with the upkeep of quality data, as well as challenging the business leaders.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Provide in-depth financial analysis to support key business decisions;
    • Monitor financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and targets;
    • Prepare insightful reports to present findings and recommendations to management, leadership teams, and key stakeholders. 
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Support the annual budgeting process where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate submissions to our board. 
    • Support the forecasting process with regular updates and adjustments. 
  • Financial Modelling & Scenario Planning:
    • Create and maintain financial models to analyze the impact of various business scenarios and help optimize business strategies
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support growth initiatives, cost management, and investment decisions. 
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across finance and operational functions;
    • Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes and continuously enhance the quality of financial reporting and analysis;

 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have 1-4 years experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst or Business Partner
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (Master preferred but not essential)
  • Advanced level in English language is a must 
  • Preferably experience working in a service-oriented business
  • Willing to take initiative, work independently and take responsibility that helps you in leading projects from start to end
  • Tech savvy, especially with Excel (Power BI and NetSuite preferred but not essential)
  • Familiar with the ins and outs of a PnL, as well as the main financial drivers
  • Analytical thinking and ability to present conclusions in simplistic manner
  • Can handle large datasets and connect the dots within
  • Knowledge of accounting and IFRS is advantageous
