Marketing Manager (FTC)
This is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2025
This role is part of our eBay Inhouse team, where you will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within eBay.
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager in Measurement and Experimentation to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing a data-driven, test-and-learn culture within the Customer Moments team. The Marketing Analyst will play a critical role in designing, analysing, and scaling experimentation across marketing initiatives to enhance personalisation, customer engagement, and performance. Collaborating closely with the Senior Marketing Manager – Strategy, as well as Martech, Buyer Experience, and Data teams, this role ensures marketing efforts are informed by robust insights, grounded in evidence, and optimised for continual improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experimentation Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate tests) across messaging and customer journey initiatives. Champion a hypothesis-driven culture and support scalable test frameworks.
- Analytics & Insight Generation: Develop and deliver actionable insights through data analysis to evaluate performance, uncover opportunities, and inform marketing strategies across Customer Moments touchpoints.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to embed experimentation and data insights into customer strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and platform capabilities.
- Performance Measurement: Design and manage measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign effectiveness, personalisation outcomes, and customer impact. Track key metrics and contribute to CRM performance dashboards and reporting.
- Collaboration with Martech & AI Teams: Work closely with Martech and Core AI to leverage tools and capabilities that enable automated testing, data tracking, and innovative customer experiences.
- Process Optimisation: Continuously assess and improve the experimentation and measurement processes, ensuring scalability, rigour, and efficiency across campaign delivery.
- Test & Learn Agenda Ownership: Drive the development and execution of a cohesive test and learn agenda for the Customer Moments team, identifying high-impact opportunities and creating structured learning loops.
- Feedback Loops & Strategic Refinement: Establish systems for rapid feedback and learning from experimentation outcomes. Ensure findings are translated into actionable improvements for future campaigns and strategic initiatives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Pervious experience in marketing measurement or data-driven strategy.
- Ability to develop and implement analytics frameworks to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology with strategic goals.
- Effective mentorship and leadership abilities, with a focus on promoting a data-centric approach.
- Familiarity with martech tools and AI technologies, with an interest in exploring new innovations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
