You’ll be the face of DEPT® to one of the world’s most recognizable brands in gaming and tech.
We’re hiring a commercial, Senior Client Partner to co-lead one of our flagship global partnerships in the Gaming and Consumer Electronics space. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of commerce, marketing, and retail, has an affinity with gaming and is someone who can partner closely with a team of strategists, project managers and media planners to help grow a legendary brand to iconic status with a category-defining success story.
As a senior account lead, the Client Partner drives strategy, sales, and delivery oversight while inspiring teams and unlocking new creative and commercial opportunities. They serve as the connective tissue across capabilities, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision This position reports directly to the SVP of Retail.
To achieve their goals, the Client Partner will manage cross-channel teams and develop and maintain senior-level agency relationships. The Client Partner will consult on the best path forward to achieve strategic goals developed in relation to the client vision. They will nurture and build solid senior-level relationships with the executive layers of client leadership. They will have experience consulting for varied clients in the digital marketing, retail and ecommerce spaces, and capable of driving conversations towards different capabilities within DEPT®.
As a Client Partner, you will be :
- Driving commercial and client leadership of the client account and related business opportunities.
- Driving global growth across markets through close partnership with internal leads and client’s global team and regional teams.
- Identifying, shaping, and supporting strategic opportunities across digital marketing, commerce, retail media, and go-to-market strategy
- Ensuring smooth delivery and profitability across a dynamic multi-market account.
- Serving as the senior-most day-to-day commercial contact for the client, building strong relationships across departments and geographies.
This is more than account management; it’s account ownership. This translates in the following key responsibilities.
Key responsibilities & Essential duties (Other duties may be assigned)
- Co-create and drive a global growth plan in close partnership with a Strategy lead and Program Manager, supported by a team of specialists around the globe.
- Own and nurture senior-level client relationships; become a trusted partner that is not just focused on short term commercial success but a long lasting partnership.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver consistently high-performing, on-strategy work across markets.
- Identify growth opportunities that align with client objectives and DEPT®’s services.
- Manage revenue forecasting, contract negotiations, and commercial planning.
- Navigate the complexity of multiple business units, regions, and service lines within both DEPT® and Client.
- Serve as the connective tissue between creative, media, data, and tech disciplines within the agency.
- Understand client’s business goals, pressures, and requirements; convey client’s needs to the internal team.
- Provide resourcing recommendations and continuously monitor the effectiveness and bandwidth of the team (in collaboration with Project Manager).

What you bring & your qualifications
- You’ve led accounts $10M+ in portfolio, with an international component.
- You’ve grown enterprise relationships through both commercial strategy and consultative partnership.
- You’re fluent in marketing, digital commerce, and go-to-market strategy—and know how to connect the dots.
- You’re comfortable navigating consumer tech and gaming industries or eager to dive in with passion and credibility.
- You are at your best leading meetings with existing clients and internal teams to identify new opportunities to meet clients’ evolving needs as required; serving as the subject matter expert on processes, capacity, and timelines.
- You lead pitches, proposals, and contract negotiations for organic growth opportunities.
- You have extraordinary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- You are known to play chess, when everyone else is playing checkers and can zoom between strategy, delivery, and day-to-day client needs with confidence.
- You have experience managing complex, matrixed client orgs with multiple stakeholders and objectives.
- You’re excited to be a partner to a strategist, and be part of a tight client services team.
- You are willing to travel to client sites regularly
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience working with consumer electronics or gaming brands, especially across North America and EMEA.
- Have familiarity with retail media, audience development, or product-led growth.
- Thrive in an environment where business strategy, creativity, and execution meet.
- Are comfortable collaborating with engineering, design, or growth marketing teams.
- Are excited to work with and be exposed to Partners and C-suite in the agency.
Education/Experience: 10+ years of account management and client partnership experience in a digital marketing and (e)commerce or retail environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Certificates and Licenses: No certifications are needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: the Client Partner may directly supervise employees on the account team or client team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities by following the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Work Environment: Frequent client travel is encouraged and required.

The anticipated salary ranges for this position and subsequent locations are listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
