Shopper Insights Client Lead

We’re looking for a Shopper Insight Client Lead who wants to make a real business impact through data, insights and client partnerships.
As part of our team, you will work with leading FMCG manufacturers and retailer stakeholders, helping them turn customer and sales data into actionable recommendations that drive growth. This role combines client management, commercial thinking, analytical problem solving and project delivery.
You will independently manage a portfolio of clients, identify growth opportunities, deliver insight projects and act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
Manage and grow client relationships
- Own the commercial relationship with assigned clients and build long-term partnerships
- Understand client strategies, business objectives and challenges
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention and business growth
- Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and create additional value for clients
Delivering insight-led solutions
- Translate customer and sales data into clear business recommendations
- Create and deliver client presentations, reports and case studies
- Support clients in understanding shopper behavior, category dynamics and growth opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to sales, category management, trade marketing and marketing stakeholders
Coordinate insight projects and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate insight projects from briefing through delivery
- Work closely with retailer stakeholders, clients and internal dunnhumby teams to ensure successful execution
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high quality standards
- Support annual business planning discussions and strategic client reviews
Support commercial growth
- Deliver revenue targets across the assigned client portfolio
- Support proposal development, contract renewals and commercial discussions
- Contribute to business development activities within the Hungarian market
Support client capability building
- Deliver training sessions and workshops on dunnhumby solutions and insights
- Help clients maximize the value of our products and services
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor in category and shopper-focused discussions
What we're looking for
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG, retail, category management, shopper insights, customer analytics, consultancy or a related commercial role
- Experience working with clients or business stakeholders
- Experience turning data into business recommendations and presentations
Skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships while effectively managing projects and multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business stories and actionable recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and storytelling skills in Hungarian and English, including experience presenting insights and recommendations to client stakeholders
- Strong Power BI, Excel and data visualization skills
- Proactive commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities, manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Curiosity and openness to leveraging AI-powered tools and new technologies to improve productivity and client outcomes
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field
- Fluent Hungarian and English, both written and spoken
