About the role
Working within the Workplace division, this role requires a results-focused individual with a can-do attitude; expected to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to help achieve the division’s strategic goals.
Working as part of a small dedicated team, you will be tasked with arranging a minimum set number of appointments per week for our Business Development Managers. This position will require a strong focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. Working closely with our Sales Team, you will manage follow-up of quality sales leads and undertake productive engagement with prospective customers across multiple channels. The role
would be well suited to an individual looking to develop a career in Sales.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the sales teams have quality appointments by making outbound calls to qualified leads
- Conduct/perform prospecting activities including making cold calls, sending emails, delivering on social strategies, etc
- Manage all business-related activities at the forefront of the sales process on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Qualify, nurture, manage and convert MQLs to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using a
- systematic process developed through collaboration with sales and marketing leaders
- Explain our products to prospects including inbound marketing leads and outbound prospecting leads
- Perform sales presentations over the phone, web and in-person as needed
- Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
- Make effective use of CRM to track, assign, and qualify leads
- Maintain pipeline of prospects via Outreach Sales Enablement platform and achieve agreed targets of booked meetings for acquisition team
- Research and build database of contacts
- Accurately update and maintain internal records and systems
- Ensure the start of the customer journey reflects our business in a positive light
- Generate reports as required to track business metrics
- Applicants must be willing and able to undertake occasional travel as required for the role
Essential Criteria
- 1+ year of relevant sales experience, including cold calling, lead nurturing, and lead qualification.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience, particularly through remote channels.
- Proficiency in IT tools, with experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office, including Sheets or Excel.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) and an established network to enhance both personal and company brand in a B2B environment.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in a SaaS business environment.
- Strong understanding of digital products and services, with an aptitude for navigating technology-driven sales.
