
Immigration and Mobility Specialist

Your Role:
As the Immigration and Mobility Specialist, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds in providing U.S. immigration assistance to Faraday Future and its global subsidiaries. Basically, you’ll ensure that all paperwork of current and future foreign national are filed accurately and timely.
- Monitors progress for all US immigration cases in conjunction with external vendor; ensuring that no case “falls through the cracks”
- Interfaces with internal customers and stakeholders for any needed information by the outside counsel to ensure timely filing of cases, responses to Request for Evidence (RFE) and proper documentation
- Review applications prepared by the outside counsel to ensure accuracy of information for Immigration & Global Mobility Manager’s signature
- Update immigration case log of the department
- Coordinates recruitment process for US permanent resident applications, in conjunction with sponsoring manager, outsourced vendor and recruiting group
- Supports administrative (case initiations, mailing of packages, set up telephone conferences, etc.) and project work in other areas of the Global Mobility department, as needed.
- Write Letters of Invitation for B-1 visitors and update database to monitor foreign nationals on campus
- Write Employment Verification Letters for foreign nationals
- Maintain files in accordance for audit standards including creating and maintaining US public access files in conjunction with external vendor
- Performs any functions necessary as assigned by the Immigration and Global Mobility Manager to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to internal and external customers
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience working in an immigration law firm and/or in-house
- Strong knowledge of nonimmigrant visa types such as H-1, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3 and B-1 and immigrant visas such as PERMs, EB-1s, I-140, I-485, I-765 and I-131
- Must have an understanding of visa bulletin and priority dates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
- Collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm and team-working tendencies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining Public Access File
- Knowledge of requirements of Return Transportation Agreement
Annual Salary Range:
($70K - $90K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
