Who You Are:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources professional who thrives in fast-paced environments with experience supporting an hourly workforce, especially in field operations. You are organized and proactive, handling everything from onboarding to payroll with care and accuracy. You communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and adapt quickly to change – all while keeping people and processes at the center of your work. This role will report onsite in a hybrid capacity at our campus in Afton, TX.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries, offering guidance on policies, benefits, payroll and leave programs
- Own payroll processing by reviewing time entries, ensuring accuracy, and resolving discrepancies
- Run employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new and exiting employees
- Respond to employee questions around benefits in partnership with our Benefits team based in New York
- Oversee the administration of leave programs (i.e. medical, parental, other)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HR regulations
- Partner closely with the HR Business Partner to support effective communication, change management, and consistent implementation of HR processes across the organization
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, background checks, and offer processes in collaboration with hiring managers
- Partner with the Community Relations Partner to support initiatives that strengthen relationships with the surrounding community, including coordinating volunteer events, local partnerships, and company presence at community activities
- Support the delivery of employee trainings both internally and through external provider
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience supporting an hourly workforce/field operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word), with the ability to quickly learn HRIS and payroll systems (we currently use Namely)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams, and comfortable working independently with a strong sense of ownership
- Adaptable and solutions-oriented, always on the lookout for creative ways to solve problems
- Ability to work onsite in Afton, TX
