The Food & Beverage Coordinator supports the daily operations of the food and beverage program at Geotab. This role helps to deploy food and beverage related tasks following company standards and safe food handling regulations.
What you'll do:
As a Food and Beverage Coordinator your key area of responsibility will be to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, following standard recipes, culinary techniques, and instructions to deliver high-quality, consistent results. Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet or exceed established quality, presentation and company standards. Assist in managing inventory levels, stock rotation and reporting shortages to senior-level staff. Safely hand- wash/machine wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware and cooking utensils used within the facility; ensuring that all dishes and utensils are safe and free of food residue. Report any broken dishes, glassware, or equipment to senior- level staff. Restock food and beverage items, prevent shortages and report employee feedback. Research ways to improve costs, efficiency and sustainability within the kitchen and food & beverage program. Empty grease trap, kitchen trash and recycling as necessary. Clean kitchen tools and equipment following company protocols, to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Monitor, track and report food, fridge and freezer temperatures. Complete regular training on culinary techniques, safe food preparation/handling, and cooking methods.
