What you'll do:
What makes a world-class B2B content marketing strategy? How can AI be leveraged within content marketing to drive greater performance and productivity? In this role, you are a creator at the forefront of content marketing as a discipline and a key player in Geotab's marketing success. Under the direction of the AVP, Brand & Growth Marketing, you'll lead a team of high performing content marketers in developing, executing and reporting on innovative content strategies that drive demand and fuel pipeline growth. You will lead content strategy, topic and audience identification, content optimization, distribution across multiple formats, and brand alignment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. Demand Generation, SEO and Digital Marketing, Video Production), industry experts, and influencers to create engaging content experiences and push the boundaries of content marketing across all formats. How you'll make an impact

Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with revenue and demand generation goals.

Lead the creation and maintenance of the annual content calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and channels.

Create compelling narratives across various content formats (written, visual, video, audio, interactive) to strengthen market presence and engage target audiences.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop ROI-driven content that translates technical concepts into clear value propositions.

Oversee the optimization of content for various platforms and analyze performance to refine strategies.

Act as a key liaison between content creators and channel owners to ensure effective content distribution and impact across the customer journey.

Forecast, monitor, and report on content performance metrics to leadership, providing insights for strategic adjustments and budget allocation.

Lead and mentor a team of content marketers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Develop and implement an AI strategy to enhance content creation, distribution, and overall productivity.

Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice, and tone for consistency and differentiation.

Stay current with SEO and LLM best practices to maximize organic reach and content effectiveness.

Collaborate cross-functionally to gather insights, identify trending topics, and align content with broader marketing initiatives.

Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and industry experts to amplify content reach and impact.

Continuously evaluate and improve content processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Contribute to the development of a content center of excellence and maintain a comprehensive content library.
What you'll bring to the role

8-10 years of proven experience in B2B content marketing strategy development, digital copywriting, or a similar role, ideally within the B2B SaaS technology sector.

3-5 years of demonstrated experience leading and managing content marketing teams, including performance management and team operations.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong understanding of the B2B marketing landscape and the ability to develop strategies that drive results.

Proven ability to create and implement content strategies aligned with Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas across various content formats and channels.

Deep knowledge of conversion copywriting, SEO, social media, and digital marketing best practices.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and optimize content performance.

Technical proficiency in marketing technology and analytics tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, Google Analytics, SEO tools, AI content tools).

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and networking skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

Adaptability and a proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Experience in the connected transportation/telematics industry or related B2B technology sectors preferred.

Previous experience in Public Sector, Commercial Transportation, or Mobility Insights preferred.

Certifications in content marketing, copywriting, or AI for marketing a huge plus.
