THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Localization Project Manager for our Marketing team in São Paulo!

Wellhub is seeking a L10N PM to support the localization and adaptation of marketing assets for our 10+ locales. The successful candidate will play an active role in our Localization Center of Excellence for our Marketing teams, which will secure a successful setup for global communications to consistently produce locally relevant assets that truly resonate with the different target audiences, by generating effective translations & cross-cultural adaptations thus driving revenue through improved user experience. This position will report directly to our Localization Manager and involves a strong sense of collaboration and effective communication with the rest of the Localization team, external vendors, and key stakeholders across Wellhub. This new Wellhubber will become the go-to person for successful management of any localization project, to help ensure that Wellhub consistently delivers a great native experience across its operating regions.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Manage localization and adaptation requests from Wellhub stakeholders with our team of approved translations agencies, following the approved processes and making sure projects are delivered by the agreed target date with the highest quality standards.
  • Build strong collaboration and effective communication with internal stakeholders (incl. production) to gain clear understanding of the brief, deliverables, and timeline for each project, to ensure smooth adaptation process and successful delivery of market-specific materials. 
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of Wellhub’s different target audiences (client, partners, end users), brand and style guides, as well as any language tool to achieve a consistent and locally resonant tone of voice for all comms across channels and different audiences.
  • Develop strong and effective relationships with Wellhub Localization Leads, 3rd party translation vendors, lead linguists and other local market stakeholders to deliver the right language quality per content type.
  • Support the pt-BR Localization Lead at Wellhub on the review, QA and evaluation of translations from English into pt-BR to ensure they meet the brief (format, tone of voice, language, style) and the brand and message are relevant in the local market for a high-quality localized experience. 
  • Occasionally, perform brief translations when required. 
  • Provide constructive feedback to the local talent when appropriate, actively participate in root-cause analysis and issue prevention and escalate quality issues to help find a way to always keep the highest quality standards.
  • Support Wellhub Localization Leads on Terminology and TM clean-up activities regularly to maintain glossaries, style guidelines, and translation memories up to date and always relevant. Also, help build and maintain a library of approved assets and l10n best practices.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Reside in São Paulo.
  • Availability to go to the office when requested (at least once a month).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Fully immersed (both linguistic and culturally) in the Brazil market reality.
  • Previous experience working as a project manager in the localization industry Ideally, experience in translating marketing-related content (incl. app localization and transcreation). 
  • Knowledge of localization workflows, CAT tools, linguistic QA, and maintenance of language assets.
  • Highly organized with a quality-first approach and great attention to detail.
  • Able to perform in a dynamic environment with ongoing changes.
  • Solution-driven thinker with a proactive attitude and a quality-first approach to work.
