The Opportunity: Senior Analyst, Data Scientist
ICONIQ Capital is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join the Data & Business Intelligence team. The Data & BI Team is responsible for setting and executing a data strategy that creates efficiencies, systematize processes, and reduces risk across the franchise.
The Data Scientist will report to ICONIQ's Lead Data Scientist and will primarily support ICONIQ’s Growth Equity business, working on key strategic initiatives and solutions supporting deal sourcing, network intelligence, and AI.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and translate requirements into technical specifications which include design, development, testing, and the deployment of completed solutions
- Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance for business needs.
- Leverage Python to develop, deploy, and iteratively improve Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
- Develop and monitor the success of Data Science products through the creation of performance metrics as well as be involved in all aspects of Data Science initiatives including data integrity, developing and monitoring machine learning and artificial intelligence models, and the construction and monitoring of business success metrics over time.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics
- Strong SQL experience and skills. Experience using Snowflake is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python analytical libraries (Pandas, sklearn, numpy, pytorch, etc.) as well as experience building and maintaining machine learning models in Python.
- Experience using LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for development support. Experience leveraging APIs to use LLMs to process data is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills & experience directly interacting with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with data provided by third party vendors is a plus.
- Experience working with outsourced developers is a plus.
Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $110,000- $120,000 together with a discretionary bonus, health insurance, paid time off, 401k participation with a company matching program, wellness stipend, personal education allowance as well as a commuter benefits program.
