Analyst, Portfolio Analytics

You will be a key member of the ICONIQ Growth Team on our Analytics team and support our Portfolio Engagement efforts by delivering data-driven analyses and insights that will inform ICONIQ Growth portfolio companies across various aspects of business operations and best- in-class performance. This role sits within ICONIQ Growth which partners with founders defining the future of their industries to transform the world. What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with and support other members of the Portfolio Analytics team on various high- impact projects to support our portfolio of high performing technology companies including:
  • Specific analysis and benchmarking of key operational indicators
  • Broader thought-leadership across topics such as financial performance, IPO readiness, organizational structure and compensation, GTM strategy, and more
  • Custom advisory projects for portfolio companies
  • Data partnerships with portfolio companies
  • Productization of various internal and external datasets
• Interface with Investment Team members and senior leadership to support portfolio companies on custom benchmarking projects.
• Capture both qualitative and quantitative data across various primary and secondary research initiatives – including collection and analysis of portfolio company data, interviews with SMEs, review of public filings, and design and analysis of proprietary surveys.
• Support the build-out of proprietary models and data visualization tools driven from portfolio company data to drive benchmarking efforts and performance analyses.

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant industry experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in consulting or investment banking.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools with limited oversight.
• Proficiency working with complex data in Excel, including data modeling and structuring best practices, and ability to transform data into key insights using a variety of charts and visualization techniques.
• Experience with Tableau, and/or other data analysis and visualization tools preferred

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy. 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $100,000 - $110,000 together with a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program.
